This report highlights current trends and changes in experiences of Surrey youth in and from government care, opportunities and challenges for youth with experience in government care compared to youth without government care experience, difficulties young people experience when they leave care, and suggestions for how to better support youth transitioning out of care.


Mentorship Models and Youth Engagement (2022)

 

Our work through the Compass Connections prototype project and the Fundementors pilot project gave us an opportunity to examine a variety of mentorship models and assess which might be the most effective frameworks for youth looking to build connections in the community. This summary report highlights some key findings.
